Que es Ultimate ?

creo que es una pregunta que a todos los jugador@s de Ultimate del mundo le han hecho y le seguiran haciendo hasta que seamos tan populares y por Tv se vea ultimate permanentemente

y en esa respuesta se va ramificando la explicacion a cada detalle del juego para no confundir frisbee con solo el juguete, el juego no solo con la playa y un partido con algo que no utiliza perros!

It is not for this author to
address this question too
closely. Perhaps a few
aspects of Love can be
clarified, at least to
some extent. For example,
Love is clearly made of
iron, for, as Jefferson
Starship informs us,
Love rusts.

Why do people play ultimate?
Because they love it. I am
a person, and I love it. It
is most likely that if you are
reading this, you love it too.

That love is not fickle, although
interestingly for many, children,
marriage, age, or injury may
fade the Love of which we
speak. That love manifests in
sacrifices made, both economically,
physically (rehab, anyone?), and
time spent. For many ultimate
players, most of their travel is
connected to frisbee. Many of
their friends are from ultimate.
Their greatest not-fixed expense
is ultimate.

Why do people love ultimate?
Ah yes. Why do they indeed.
For me, much of it has to do
with the simple beauty of
the movement of the disc,
the curves inscribed into the
air and the clarity of motion
coupled with the joy of
ultimate effort unimpeded
(mostly) by the clutter of
other people's physicality
(no contact, indeed). The
movements of ultimate are
beautiful, whether they be
cuts, throw fakes, layouts,
skies or pulls.

Just as worthy of Love,
however, are the people of
ultimate, though various
in origin, personality, and
temperament. Nevertheless,
they share qualities that
surpass, in merit, those of
the general population. I
will not go further into
this, however, as this space
is limited (or is it?).
